The adaptation of old exploration infrastructure requires the highest level of technical rigor. This project involved re-drilling and cleaning boreholes at depths of over 700 meters, a challenge that was successfully met given the age of the original installations and the need to convert them into functional piezometers.
Adapting old boreholes from the 1960s into piezometers with metal casing, given the depth and the severe deterioration of the original installations.
Despite the technical complexity, 7 boreholes were successfully adapted, exceeding the 4 initially planned in the project.
