Sonic drilling is a method that uses high-frequency vibrations to penetrate the subsoil. Unlike traditional methods, this technology guarantees 100% core recovery with a minimal degree of disturbance, providing complete and reliable data for comprehensive analysis.

Technology and equipment

Our drilling system combines rotation and thrust with high-frequency vibration that liquefies the ground, facilitating extraction. We have rigs with dual heads, sonic and conventional, which allows us to drill both lose ground and compact rock without the need to change equipment.

Geoplanning was one of the pioneer companies in Spain to incorporate this technology in 2016 with the acquisition of its first Sonic rig. In 2022 we added a second Sonic Drilling rig. We are the company with the longest track record and greatest experience in this type of drilling.

Maintenance

We have our own workshop and mechanics trained by the manufacturer to guarantee the proper functioning and preventive and corrective maintenance of our equipment.
